Adoption Process
Step 1
View the animals profiles and take a look at all the animals we currently have ready for adoption. All animals available for rehoming can be found here.
Step 2
Fill in our application form, which you will find a link to on the animal profile page. This will give us information which will help us know more about you.
Step 3
We get multiple applications for each animal & it takes time to work through the forms, so you will not receive an instant reply upon submission. We will contact who we feel is most suitable for the animal once we have assessed all applications. We are not always able to contact you if you are not chosen.
Step 4
If you are chosen, one of our team will be been in touch and have a chat with you, we will have hopefully matched you with a potential animal. Then an appointment can be made to meet your potential new pet.
Step 5
The next step will be the meet and greet. At the meeting, you will get to spend some time with the animal and see how you get along. If it’s a match then we can start the adoption process. We might need to visit your home and this is decided on a case-by-case basis.
Step 6
To finalise the adoption, you will need to sign an adoption contract and provide us with photographic proof of your ID (e.g. drivers licence) and proof of your address (utility bill or similar). Legally, we need both of these to allow us to register the dog’s microchip to you.
